8-22-23 ribbon cutting for central wisconsin christian school expansion project

Monday evening a ribbon-cutting was held for an expansion project at Central Wisconsin Christian School in Waupun.  Nearly 500 people attended the convocation and diamond legacy ceremony,  including current school families, alumni, project coordinators, faculty, staff, and community members.  Head of School and CWC class of 1978 Mark Buteyn lead the festivities.  Ben Westra,  President of WDS Construction and class of 1995 also was part of the presentation. The largest expansion […]

8-22-23 missing fdl man found dead by suicide

A Fond du Lac man who was reported missing by family members earlier this month has been found dead from an apparent suicide.  Fond du Lac police say the body of Troy Zupke was found Saturday afternoon in a dense wooded area behind a residence in the 300 block of Willow Drive.  An autopsy conducted Monday shows the manner of death was by suicide.  A missing endangered person alert was issued August 6th after Zupke […]

8-21-23 drowning at taylor park swimming pool in fdl

An eight year old Fond du Lac boy was transported to the hospital following a drowning at the Taylor Park Swimming pool in Fond du Lac.  Fond du Lac Fire Chief Erick Gerritson says paramedics were called to the scene shortly after 2:30pm Sunday.  Gerritson says paramedics were able to get a pulse before the child was transported to the hospital.  His condition was not immediately known.  Nevin Webster was […]
