9-21-23 local unemployment rate up slightly

The area unemployment rate is up slightly in the latest reporting period.  The city of Fond du Lac's jobless rate in August was 3.8 percent, up from 3.5 percent in July.   Fond du Lac County's unemployment rate was up four-tenths of a percent to 3.3 percent.  In Dodge County the August unemployment rate was 3.1 percent, up from 2.5 percent the month before.
