A new festival celebrating fall was held in Fond du Lac this weekend.   Residents gathered at Lakeside Park for Fondy FallToberFest.  The event featured several activities for kids and adults including horse drawn wagon rides,  kids costume contest, apple flinging course, and pumpkin launching.  Adult activities included axe throwing, kickball tournament and a beer garden, plus plenty of food options and live music.

SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital will be consolidating its dialysis center facilities in Beaver Dam and Waupun into one newly remodeled facility in Beaver Dam, off Highway 151.   The 7,900-square-foot facility will feature 16 patient care stations and one isolation station for high-risk patients. A winning $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold in Fond du Lac for Wednesday's drawing.  The winning ticket was sold at the North Main Street Kwik Trip.  The  winning Powerball ticket matched four of five numbers (1-4-13-35-58) plus the Powerball (24).  Because the ticket included the $1 Power Play for an additional $1, a $50,000 prize increased to $100,000 when the 2X multiplier was drawn.
