11-20-23 two people receive life-threatening injuries in separate crashes in dodge county

Two people were seriously injured in separate alcohol-related crashes in Dodge County over the weekend.  A 25 year old Waupun man received life-threatening injuries when his pickup rolled over early Sunday morning.  The crash happened near the intersection of County Highways A and S near Juneau.  Investigators say he was not wearing a seatbelt.  Shortly after 11:00 pm Saturday a 31 year old Watertown man was seriously injured when his pickup crashed into a […]

11-20-23 high speed chase

Nobody was injured and the driver was arrested following a short high speed chase in Dodge and Fond du Lac counties.  Around 4am Saturday Fond du Lac County Sheriff's deputies were called to assist the state patrol who were pursuing a vehicle northbound on Interstate 41 near Highway 67.  The vehicle exited onto 67 and the chase was terminated.  A few minutes later  the suspect vehicle was located northbound on County Highway K.   A  chase […]

11-20-23 worker dies in accident at fdl area stone company

An accident at a stone company in Fond du Lac County has claimed the life of an employee.  The incident happened late Friday afternoon at Eden Stone Company on Lime Road.  A preliminary investigation indicates that workers were unloading a large piece of a metal stone saw off of a semi truck  when it tipped over trapping a worker.  Employees were able to free the victim within seconds of the accident, but when […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin's annual nine-day gun deer-hunting season starts this weekend.  The season kicks off at sunrise on Saturday and closes on the evening of Sunday, Nov. 26.  Hunters killed 203,295 deer during the 2022 season, up 14% from 2021.
