The Waupun Police chief is stepping down.  Scott Louden has resigned after 23 years of law enforcement service to pursue other opportunities.  Deputy chief Jeremy Rasch has been named interim chief while the search for a new police chief is conducted.   Meanwhile several volunteer firefighters were recognized at the Department's recent holiday banquet, including Scott DeMotts and Wayne Opperman for 25 years of service.

12-18-23 fdl juvenile arrested following high speed chase in stolen vehicle

A Fond du Lac teen is in custody following a high speed chase in a stolen vehicle. The chase started shortly after 9:30 pm Sunday on Martin Avenue near Pioneer Road and continued south on Highway 151.
