SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital is hosting a community blood drive from 11 am – 4 pm on Tuesday, January 16 in the Plaza Level Conference Center, 430 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac. Appointments are encouraged. Donors will get a choice of a gift card or bonus points to shop the ImpactLife rewards store for a new gray blanket and more. A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
