1-26-24 little change in local unemployment rate

There was little change in the local unemployment rate last month.  The Dodge County unemployment rate dipped a tenth of a percent to 2.3 percent in December.   The Fond du Lac County rate fell from 2.3 to 2.2 percent.  The city of Fond du Lac's jobless rate in December was 2.8 percent, up from 2.7 percent in November.

Madison, Wis. - The Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA) released its December 2023 Wisconsin Real Estate Report today. Wisconsin’s existing home sales fell 6.2% in December 2023 relative to December 2022. The statewide median price rose 8.0% to $271,000, which is similar to the pattern seen throughout 2023.
