An Oshkosh man has been convicted  in connection  with a fatal alcohol-related crash in Fond du Lac County.   Fifty-seven year-old Brian Sippel has pleaded no contest to homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.  Investigators say Sippel was intoxicated when he struck a vehicle that was stopped at a traffic signal on the Highway 151  Bypass at Interstate 41.  A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and a  sentencing hearing is scheduled for June […]

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a barn in Fond du Lac County. The Horicon Police Chief is stepping down.  Mayor Joshua Maas says chief Amy Yahnke is resigning in good standing.  Maas says the city appreciate's Yahnke's service to the city and wishes her well in future endeavors.   Maas says the city will be starting the process for hiring both an interim Chief and a full-time Chief immediately.
