Fond du Lac police are calling the death of a woman involved in a traffic crash suspicious. Shortly before 6:30pm Tuesday rescue personnel responded to a crash in the area of West Follett and North Main Street. Waupun interim police chief Jeremy Rasch has been hired as chief. The Waupun Police and Fire commission made the appointment by unanimous decision. Rasch has served in the department for more than 20 years and has been the deputy chief since 2017. He has been the interim chief since Scott Louden resigned in December. Rasch will be sworn into office Monday.
