Two people were injured, one critically, in a two vehicle crash in Dodge County.  The crash happened shortly after 4pm Tuesday on Highway 151 at County Highway DE.  A preliminary investigation shows a car was eastbound on DE when it attempted to cross over 151 and was struck by an SUV.  The car driver, a 76 year old Fall River man, was flown by helicopter to UW Hospital in Madison with life-threatening injuries.  The SUV […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Democratic Gov. Tony Evers has signed a Republican-authored bill that expands Wisconsin's child care tax credit. Evers signed the bill Monday after vetoing three other GOP-authored tax cut proposals on Friday. An inflation guage favored by the Federal Reserve increased in January, the latest sign the slowdown in U.S. consumer price increases is occurring unevenly from month to month.  Prices rose 0.3 percent from December to January, up from 0.1 percent the previous month.   But, retired Ripon College economist Paul Schoofs says a more encouraging sign is that prices were up just 2.4 percent from a year earlier, down from a  2.6 percent […]
