The state Department of Corrections is investigating a staff assault at Columbia Correctional Institution.  Sources tell WFDL news a female correctional officer was stabbed by an inmate Sunday at the Columbia prison.  Details were not released and her condition is not immediately known.  The inmate was transferred to the Waupun prison.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim of a fall in Fond du Lac County last week.   According to the Sheriff's Offices 62-year-old Joseph Thome remains hospitalized in critical condition after falling more than 10 feet while working inside a building in the town of Taycheeda.   Thome is a staple in the Fond du Lac County agricultural community and chairman of  the Town of Taycheedah.  Thome’s family […]

A town of Beaver Dam man was seriously injured in a fiery one vehicle crash in Dodge County. The crash happened Monday morning on South Center Road. The vehicle entered a ditch, struck a field drive and vaulted before coming to rest .
