The City of Fond du Lac Water Utility has scheduled annual citywide dead end hydrant flushing to begin on Monday April 22, 2024. 4-9-24 fatal two vehicle crash-fdl county

A two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County has claimed the life of a Ripon woman.  The crash happened shortly before 10pm Monday on Highway 26 near Cattaraugus Road.  A preliminary investigation shows a vehicle that had run out of gas was stopped in the southbound lane of  Highway 26 when it was struck by another southbound vehicle.   A 75-year-old Ripon woman  was standing in front of her vehicle when […]

4-9-24 fdl county shed fire

Nobody was injured in a shed fire in Fond du Lac County.  Shortly after 3:30am Tuesday firefighters were called to a residence on Kinwood Road for a fire in a 40' x 80' detached shed.   Sheriff's deputies used fire extinguishers to prevent the fire from spreading before Oakfield firefighters arrived on the scene to  extinguish the fire.  The fire caused moderate damage.   The cause of the fire remains under investigation but is not considered suspicious.

WEST POINT, Wis. (AP) — Two vehicles collided on a highway in central Wisconsin, leaving five people dead. 4-9-24 wisconsin rapids woman arrested following owi injury crash in fdl county
