In-person classes resumed this week in the education building at Waupun Correctional Institution.  The move is one of several steps WCI has taken recently toward ending modified movement.  Currently, classes focus on preparing inmates for GED or High School Equivalency testing.   Four levels of math and language arts classes are offered as well as courses in science, social studies and civics. 4-5-24 tuition increase approved for uw madison, other campuses

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — In-state tuition at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and other campuses in the system will increase 3.75% next school year under a plan approved unanimously by the Board of Regents on Thursday.  Combined with an increase in fees, the total tuition and fee increase will be 4.4% on average, the university said. 4-5-24 study finds marijuana use linked to higher risk of heart attack and stroke
