4-2-24 bridge connects fdl’s lakeside park to lakeside park west

Work has resumed on a bridge connecting Fond du Lac's Lakeside Park with Lakeside Park West.    Large cranes lifted the bridge and placed the structure on the bridge abutment Monday morning.  Fond du Lac Advisory Park Board member John Papenheim says the bridge will make it easier for residents to access Lakeside Park West.  "I am really excited about it,"  Papenheim told WFDL news.  "Lakeside Park West is so underused […]

4-2-24 uw oshkosh gymnastics team homecoming

A homecoming celebration is planned for the national champion UW-Oshkosh gymnastics team.  Titan gymnastics won the 50th national championship in school history and the third straight for the team on March 23. They collected 10 All-America medals and four individual titles at the NCGA Championship and broke the Division III scoring record.
