4-29-24 basement fire damages fdl home

4-29-24 violent intruder alert button accidentally pushed at hartford high school

4-29-24 measles case reported in wisconsin

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services  has confirmed a case of measles in an  individual living in Dane County.  According to DHS the person traveled to Rock County for employment.   DHS, in coordination with Public Health Madison & Dane County and Rock County Public Health, are working to identify and notify people who may have been exposed to the measles virus. Democratic govenor Tony Evers continues to fare well in the latest Marquette Law School poll...the Republican-controlled state legislature...not so much.  The latest poll shows Evers with a 52 percent job approval rating...44 percent disapprove.  Only 34 percent of Wisconsin residents approve of the legislature while 56 percent disapprove.  In the US Senate race, Democratic senator Tammy Baldwin is supported by 52 percent to Republican challenger Eric Hovde with 47 percent among registered voters.   Among likely […]
