4-26-24 fire damages fdl culver’s restaurant

Nobody was injured in a fire that damaged a Culver’s Restaurant in Fond du Lac. Shortly before 2am Friday firefighters were called to the West Pioneer Road Culver’s to find smoke showing from the roof. Crews were met by a construction company and opened holes in the ceiling to quickly extinguish the fire.  The fire caused smoke and water damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

4-26-24 baldwin calls for immediate action to contain avian flu outbreak in dairy cattle

Democratic U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin has called on the United States Department of Agriculture to take immediate action to contain the ongoing avian flu outbreak in dairy cattle.  On Tuesday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that the virus has been found in pasteurized milk. 4-26-24 former wisconsin college chancellor fired over porn career is fighting to keep his faculty post

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse’s top official has taken the first steps toward removing a faculty member who was earlier fired from his job as chancellor over his fledgling porn career. 4-26-24 dodge county drug bust

Two Beaver Dam residents were arrested for illegal drugs following a traffic stop in Dodge County.   A Dodge County Sheriff's deputy stopped a vehicle in the town of Burnett and observed suspicious behavior from the vehicle occupants.  A sheriff's K9 search located a significant amount of cocaine, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.   Thirty seven year old Alan Douglas Jr. and 33 year old Amy Kompga, both of Beaver Dam face charges of possession of illegal […]
