4-25-24 school bus rear-ended in fdl county crash

Nobody was injured when a school bus was rear-ended by a vehicle in Fond du Lac County.  The crash happened Thursday morning on Highway 151 near Fisherman Road. There were two children on the bus.   Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

4-25-24 former kewaskum school resource officer makes initial fdl court appearance on charge of beastiality

Bail has been set at $100,000 for a former Kewaskum School Resource Officer charged with beastiality in Fond du Lac County.   Steven Rosales of Campbellsport made his initial Fond du Lac Court  appearance Wednesday on three counts of beastiality.  He is accused of having sexual contact  with a pet female Golden Retriever dog.   A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 31.   Rosales is also charged in Washington County with sexual misconduct by a school […]

4-25-24 tci inmate pleads not guilty to killing cellmate

A Taycheeda women's prison inmate charged with killing her cellmate has pleaded not guilty to first-degree intentional homicide.   Twenty-eight year old Taylor Sanchez, an inmate at the Taycheedah Correctional Institution, entered the plea Tuesday during her arraignment in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court in the death of Cindy Schulz-Juedes. 4-25-24 wisconsin citizens utility board thinks utility rate increase request is too high

4-25-24 little change in local unemployment rate

There was little change in the local unemployment rate last month.  The city of Fond du Lac's unemployment rate increased a tenth of a percent to 3.3 percent in March.   The jobless rate was 2.9 percent in Fond du Lac County, up from 2.7 percent in February.  The Dodge County unemployment rate was down a tenth of a percent to three percent.

MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers announced today, as the state and country celebrate Earth Week, that the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) awarded $7.8 million from the Energy Innovation Grant Program (EIGP) to 28 projects that will expand access to clean energy and invest in the adoption of innovative technologies and processes.
