5-9-24 fdl man charged in connection with vandalism to fdl restaurant

A Fond du Lac man has made his initial court appearance  in connection with the vandalism more than three years ago of a Fond du Lac restaurant that was owned by a former Fond du Lac city councilmember.  Troy Allen is charged with five counts including burglary-armed with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, theft and criminal damage to property.  Bail was set at $20,000 cash.  A preliminary hearing […]

5-9-24 nfdl strong armed robbery investigation-the latest

The North Fond du Lac police chief says a strong armed robbery in the village last week apparently stemmed from an argument over illegal drugs.  A Waukesha man told officers he was attacked  Monday night, April 29th, in the area of Polk Street and Audrey Court.  Police Chief Pete Vergos says it turns out the suspect is the victim's cousin.  Vergos says the victim received substantial injuries.   Anyone with information about the incident […]
