6-25-24 fdl parks department storage building destroyed by fire

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a Fond du Lac Parks Department storage building at Lakeside Park.  Firefighters were called to the scene at 650 North Main Street near the entrance to the park shortly after 6pm Monday.  Fire Chief Erick Gerritson told WFDL news at the scene the building and contents, including a couple of utility vehicles, are a total loss.  Gerritson says at this point the cause of the fire is not suspicious.  He says a passerby reported the fire.
