SSM Health and the Fond du Lac County Health Department are partnering to hear from residents about what their health concerns are. Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says an older adults and aging population conversation was held earlier this week at the Waupun Senior Center. “We gather it all together along with our community health assessment data. At the same time we’re meeting with stakeholders to understand how they feel the community is doing,” Mueller told WFDL news.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
