6-26-24 high speed chase-dodge county

A Madison man is in custody following a high speed chase in Dodge County.  The chase started shortly before 12:30am Wednesday in the village of Clyman.  Sheriff’s deputies pursued a vehicle with speeds of 100 miles an hour. 6-26-24 fdl school board approves preliminary budget

The Fond du Lac School Board has approved a preliminary 2024-25 budget.  School District chief of Finance and Operations Mike Gerlach says the budget comes with a looming $5.2 million deficit next year.  Gerlach says the main factors behind the deficit are declining enrollment and expiration of federal COVID stimulus funds.  Gerlach says next year the school board will have to decide whether to make cuts, go to referendum or a combination to deal […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A staff member at Wisconsin's youth prison is in critical condition following a fight with an inmate.
