6-21-24 fdl county board approves using arpa funds to improve fairgrounds buildings

The Fond du Lac County Board has voted to spend $500,000 in federal ARPA funds for building improvements at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds.  County executive Sam Kaufman says the improvements are in addition to a major renovation of the grandstand music stage at the Fairgrounds.  Kaufman says renovations are needed at the cow palace, expo center and some of the smaller buildings on the Fairgrounds.

6-21-24 wisconsin home sales continue to grow

Madison, Wis. – The Wisconsin REALTORS® Association (WRA) released its May 2024 Wisconsin Real Estate Report today, the first report from the traditional peak season for home sales. May 2024 home sales rose 11% compared to May 2023, and the median price rose to $315,500, which is a 6.9% increase over the past 12 months. A Milwaukee man wanted by police on an outstanding warrant was arrested Wednesday night following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac and Dodge counties. 6-20-24 two people killed in multiple vehicle crash in dodge county
