A one vehicle crash in Dodge County has claimed the life of a Marshall woman. The crash happened shortly before 2am Sunday at Highways A and 151. A preliminary investigation shows an SUV was southbound on 151 when it veered across the median, vaulted over the northbound lane of Highway A , landing on the southbound lane striking a concrete barrier. The driver, a 62 year old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
