The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal one vehicle crash in Dodge County. According to the Sheriff’s Office 62 year old Lori Williams from Marshall died in the crash early Sunday morning at Highways A and 151. A preliminary investigation shows Williams was driving an SUV southbound on 151 when it veered across the median, vaulted over the northbound lane of Highway A , landing on the southbound lane striking a concrete barrier. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
