7-29-24 emergency plane landing-dodge county

Nobody was injured following an emergency plane landing Dodge County. The 28 year old pilot from Georgia landed the plane in a farm field in the town of Hubbard after the plane began losing power. A second plane traveling with the disabled plane also landed in the field to check on the pilot. Both planes were on their way back to Georgia from the EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh.

One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Fond du Lac County over the weekend. The crash happened Saturday afternoon on Highway G near Glen Road. A one vehicle crash in Dodge County has claimed the life of a Marshall woman. The crash happened shortly before 2am Sunday at Highways A and 151. A preliminary investigation shows an SUV was southbound on 151 when it veered across the median,  vaulted over the northbound lane of Highway A , landing on the southbound lane striking a concrete barrier. 7-29-24 wreckage of schooner that sank in 1893 found in lake michigan

ALGOMA, Wis. (AP) — Marine archaeologists have discovered the wreckage of a schooner that sank in Lake Michigan in the late 1800s.  The Wisconsin Underwater Archaeology Association announced this month that its searchers found the Margaret A. 7-29-24 serious injury motorcycle crash

7-29-24 victim of fatal head on collision identified

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim of a fatal two vehicle head on collision in Fond du Lac  County.  The Sheriff's Office says 19 year old Victor  Martinez of Pharr, Texas was killed when he lost control of his car on a curve on Highway D, overcorrected, and struck a northbound vehicle.  The crash happened shortly after 7:30 am Thursday.  Martinez was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.   Two passengers […]
