9-13-24 man carrying long bag near fdl elementary school causes scare

9-13-24 fire damages fdl home

Nobody was injured in a fire that damaged a house in Fond du lac.   Shortly after 11:30am Thursday firefighters were called to 563 West Scott Street.   The fire was extinguished in about ten minutes, but not before damaging the siding on the west side of the house with smoke damage  inside the home.  Firefighters were able to rescue three pet dogs inside the house.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer says she expects the number of people sickened by a multistate salmonella outbreak caused by raw eggs to grow.  Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says so far there have been no salmonella cases reported in Fond du Lac County.  Wisconsin health officials initiated a recall of eggs following the outbreak of salmonella infections among 65 people in nine states that originated on a […]
