9-19-24 dam on rock river in waupun under repair

Water levels at the Mill Pond and Rock River in Waupun are considerably lower than usual and are still falling.  Mayor Rohn Bishop says the dam is broken.  Bishop says a bypass valve and pipe that allow crews to relieve pressure on the dam during flooding events recently  gave way and broke.  He says the city is working with the DNR to fix the problem.
