10-7-24 high speed chase-fdl county

A Milwaukee man is in custody following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac County. The chase started shortly after 12:30am Friday on southbound Interstate 41 near Sales Road and ended shortly after the vehicle ran over stop sticks near Johnson Street in Fond du Lac. The vehicle eventually stopped after exiting at Military Road and the driver fled on foot. He was quickly apprehended.

10-4-24 suicide rate remains at high level

US suicides last year remained at about the highest level in the nation's history.  Preliminary data shows that a little over 49,300 suicide deaths were reported in 2023.   Just under 49,500 were reported in 2022.   Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says there were 15 suicide deaths in Fond du Lac County in 2023, and seven so far this year.  Mueller says locally the highest suicide rate is […]
