10-29-24 bomb threat at fdl stem academy unfounded

Police say a bomb threat written in a bathroom at the Fond du Lac STEM Academy turned out to be unfounded.  Early Monday afternoon police officers were called to the school on South Military Road after a student reported the threat to a school custodian.  The school was evacuated while a search of the school was conducted.  Two searches of the building found no suspicious circumstances.   Two K9 bomb-sniffing units from Outagamie County also […]

Frozen waffles sold across popular US retailers are being recalled for possible Listeria contamination.  Illinois-based manufacturer TreeHouse Foods has voluntarily recalled some of their frozen waffle products due to the potential for listeria contamination.  Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says the frozen waffle products are sold at stores like Walmart and Target and include several brands such as Kodiak, Good & Gather and Simple Truth.  Mueller says it seems like there […]
