10-25-24 dodge county sheriff’s office impersonation scam

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating numerous reports of persons impersonating a sheriff’s deputy. The individual is calling from a spoofed phone number and identifying himself as a Dodge County Sheriff’s deputy, The caller says there is a warrant for your arrest. The Sheriff’s Office says this is a scam and says if you get a call like this hang up and notify law enforcement.

10-25-24 fdl shooting investigation

10-24-24 firefighters respond to fire at fdl auto shop

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a Fond du Lac auto shop.  Shortly before midnight Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on North Military Road to find smoke showing from the garage doors of the auto shop that was attached to other businesses.  The auto shop and its contents were destroyed.  Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to other buildings.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
