10-21-24 moraine park awarded $1.1 million in workforce grants

Moraine Park Technical College was again awarded Workforce Advancement Training (WAT) grants from the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS). The College’s Economic & Workforce Development team submitted six grants for consideration for $1,178,314–the highest in the state for two consecutive years. 10-18-24 wisconsin unemployment rate holds steady

Wisconsin's unemployment rate held steady last month.   Figures released by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development show the state unemployment rate was 2.9 percent in September, below the national rate of 4.1 percent.  Wisconsin's labor force increased by 6,700 over the month and 1,300 over the year.
