11-5-24 5 dead after car hits tree in southern wisconsin

Five people died in a fiery vehicle crash in Wisconsin, authorities said Saturday.  The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that the vehicle crashed into a tree Friday night off a roadway just south of Verona, a town about 11 miles (18 kilometers) southwest of Madison.  The vehicle caught fire and all five occupants were pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.   Authorities have not released their names and […]

A Fond du Lac Street will be closed for a couple of days this week.  East Division Street between Park Avenue and Champion Street will be closed beginning Thursday, November 7 at 7:00 am and remain closed until end of day Friday, November 8. The closure will be in place to allow for water utility repairs and pavement restoration.
