11-25-24 fdl railroad crossing closure

A Fond du Lac railroad crossing will be closed for a week for repairs.  Fond du Lac Public Works says the railroad crossing at South Hickory Street,   south of Rolling Meadows Drive will be closed beginning Monday  and will re-open end of day Monday, December 2.  The railroad crossing will be closed to allow Canadian National to make an emergency repair at the railroad crossing and approaches.  A signed detour will be placed. 11-25-24 school report cards

Data released by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction this week  showed that 84% of Wisconsin public schools met, exceeded or significantly exceeded expectations for the 2023-24 school year, up slightly from 83% the previous school year.   In Fond du Lac County St. Mary's Springs Academy exceeded expectations, while Fond du Lac, North Fond du Lac, Oakfield, Waupun, Rosendale-Brandon, and Winnebago Lutheran Academy all met expectations.   “We are incredibly proud to be recognized, for the […]
