The Fond du Lac Department of Public Works has announced the temporary railroad crossing closure on S Hickory Street, south of Rolling Meadows Drive. The closure will begin Monday, November 25 at 7:00 am and will re-open end of day Monday, December 2. 11-20-24 driver suffered medical condition before pickup truck went into pond

A Brownsville man died after he apparently suffered a heart attack before his pickup truck  left the road and entered a pond in Fond du Lac.    Shortly before 12:30pm Tuesday rescue personnel were called to a pond near  the Highway 151 Bypass and Interstate 41.  The driver and lone occupant, a 57 year old Brownsville man, was transported to St. Agnes Hospital where he was pronounced dead.    According to the Sheriff's Office just prior […]
