Fond du Lac Holy Family Catholic Community will celebrate its 2,000th free takeout Thanksgiving meal this year. Holy Family's Sarah Razner says the program is in its fifth year distributing Thanksgiving meals on the day before Thanksgiving. The Fond du Lac city council has approved a 2025 city budget. City manager Joe Moore says the budget includes a decrease in the tax rate. Moore says money in the capital improvement plan is earmarked for housing development. Moore says the budget also continues to invest in the city's stormwater system.
