1-27-25 fdl symphonic band concert of chamber music

The 35^th annual Concert of Chamber Music will be presented on Sunday, February 2 at 3:00 p.m. at Church of Our Saviour, 9^th and Main Streets in Fond du Lac. The concert will feature an euphonium soloist and seven ensembles from the Fond du Lac Symphonic Band, including a trombone choir, brass and wind quintets, euphonium quartet, flute trio, and two mixed wind duets.   Program highlights include the Overture from Rossini’s Barber of Seville, selected movements from Vivaldi’s “Spring,” Scarborough Fair, and The Black Horse Troop March by J. P. Sousa.   Selections on the Church of Our Saviour’s Klaus Becker tracker organ will be offered by local organist Ken Hill beginning at 2:45 p.m.

There is no admission charge. A free-will offering will be received.
