1-17-25 fdl shooting incident

A 21-year-old Fond du Lac man has been arrested following a shooting incident in Fond du Lac.  The man was arrested following a traffic stop.  The shooting with an air-powered pellet rifle happened shortly before 7:30pm Thursday in the 400 block of W. The baseball community is mourning the loss of Bob Uecker following the death of the longtime Milwaukee Brewers broadcaster at the age of 90. 1-17-25 fdl overdose conviction

A Fond du Lac man has been convicted in connection with a fentanyl overdose death in the city of Fond du Lac. Michael Kimmons pleaded no contest to First Degree Reckless Homicide.   He is accused of providing fentanyl that led to an overdose death in the city of Fond du Lac.  A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and a sentencing hearing  is scheduled for March 28.
