1-16-25 lomira man arrested on child pornography charges

A Lomira man has been arrested and faces child pornography charges.  Thirty eight year old Joshua Rogge was taken into custody after Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant on Milwaukee Street in the village Tuesday.  The Sheriff's Office is continuing it's investigation.

1-16-25 stolen work van from ssm health in fdl recovered in beaver dam

A vehicle stolen from SSM Health in Fond du Lac has been recovered and a suspect is in custody. The work van was reported stolen Wednesday from the SSM Health parking lot on East Division Street. Using what’s called  Flock license plate registration technology the vehicle was tracked to a Walmart parking lot in Beaver Dam where a 43 year old Columbus man was arrested. .

1-16-25 waupun business expanding

A Waupun business is expanding.  The Waupun Common Council has approved a developers agreement clearing the way for Eagle Packaging to expand in the Waupun industrial park.   The company has added 65 jobs since first opening in Waupun in 2021.  The expansion is expected to be completed by the end of the year,  creating an additional 30-40 jobs, with plans to double the current workforce over the next five years.

1-16-25 waupun school board places operations referendum on april ballot

On January 13, 2025, the School District of Waupun Board of Education unanimously approved a resolution to pursue an operational referendum on the April 1 ballot. This referendum will ask taxpayers to authorize the District to exceed the state-imposed revenue limit by $900,000 annually.
