1-10-25 norovirus outbreaks on the rise

Norovirus outbreaks are on the rise in the United States this winter.  According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention there have been more outbreaks reported by state health departments since the beginning of December since 2012.  Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says the norovirus,  a stomach bug, is highly contagious, causing an average of 19 million illnesses, mostly in young children, annually in the country.  How […]
