2-12-25 campbellsport teens accused of planning school shooting

Two 9th grade students in Campbellsport are accused of making plans for a school shooting. According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office the students were making direct plans, comments and threats to other students and staff about a school shooting. The students have been placed in secure detention awaiting a court hearing on criminal charges. The Sheriff’s Office says there is no immediate threat to public safety.    […]

2-12-25 hartford man sentenced to prison for stealing employees’ 401(k) funds

A Hartford man accused of stealing his employees’ 401 (k) funds has been sentenced to prison.   The state Department of Justice announced that Shone Bagley was sentenced to three years in prison and five years extended supervision.  He was also ordered to pay full restitution.  A Waukesha County jury found Bagley guilty of theft in December.

2-12-25 mptc enrollment grows

Following four consecutive years of declining enrollment numbers, Moraine Park Technical College has now seen two years in a row of increased enrollments.   To date, the College is noting a nine percent increase in full-time equivalent enrollments and the highest year-to-date program  student headcount in four years.   Overall program headcount is up by over five percent,  high school students taking advantage of dual credit and Start College Now have increased nearly 14 percent.  Enrollment […]
