Fond du Lac County is asking the public for donations to help make a major transformation of Veterans Park a reality.  The county has committed $400,000 to the project…and Veterans Services Officer Dave Tellefson says about $230,000 is still needed.  Tellefson says first and foremost the renovated park will be ADA accessible.  Tellefson says the big part of the renovation for him is bringing a Washington D.C. style memorial to Fond du lac.  […]

Firefighters battled a house fire in Calumet County early Wednesday morning.  Shortly after 2am firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T near New Holstein.   The fire was reported out by 5:30am.   There is no word on if there were any injuries, or if anyone was inside.  The cause of the fire is not yet known.
