On July 6, 2014 at approximately 8:30pm, the Fond du Lac Police Department received a complaint that a male subject approached two children in the area of S. Military Rd. and Morris St. near the bike path and eventually exposed himself to the children in Taylor Park. The subject was described as being a white male, 50-55 years old and having short red/brown, graying hair. He was wearing a green shirt and some type of skirt or shorts that resembled a skirt and was riding a red “Next” mountain bike. Anyone with additional information for this incident or information regarding similar incidents is asked to contact the Fond du Lac Police Department at 920.906.5555.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
