WASHINGTON (AP) —Janesville Republican Congressman Paul Ryan says he hasn’t even begun to think over a presidential bid in 2016. The former GOP vice presidential nominee says there “really aren’t deliberations,” about a potential campaign and that he is just focused on doing his job. Ryan made the remarks today at a breakfast sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
