The Republican candidate for the 6^th District congressional seat brought his campaign to Fond du Lac Tuesday.   State senator Glenn Grothman was presented with an award from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Wisconsin for his votes in the legislature on behalf of the construction industry.  Grothman says he coauthored the Commercial Building Code legislation designed to simplify and streamline construction regulations.  Ahern Gross Plumbing of Fond du Lac co-owner Pat Bertram says Grothman’s leadership will help Wisconsin construction employers.  Grothman is running against Democrat, Winnebago County executive Mark Harris for the seat being vacated by retiring congressman Tom Petri.
