The Fond du lac High School Police resource officer is investigating two separate fires that were set in bathrooms at the high school this week. Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says the fire department was called Monday to a report of fires set in two of the boys bathrooms. O’Leary says the fires were minor and did not cause any damage to the bathrooms. The school was not evacuated. But O’Leary says recent history shows how quickly these types of fires can spread. “If you remember a couple years ago we had more of a significant fire in a bathroom where a young man successfully set an outlet cover on fire and it created a fair amount of smoke. A teacher went in and put out the fire,” O’Leary told WFDL news. “It doesn’t take much and they can create an incredible amount of damage.”
