todayNovember 17, 2014

A Fond du Lac man involved in an armed domestic standoff last month has been bound over for trial. Thirty one year old James Walsh waived his preliminary hearing Friday in Fond du Lac County Circuit court.  Walsh is charged with first degree recklessly endangering safety, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, misdemeanor battery-domestic abuse and disorderly conduct-domestic abuse.  He is free after posting $16,000 cash bond.  Nobody was injured in the incident.  The Fond du lac County Sheriff’s Office responded last month after receiving a report of shots fired at a residence on Lost Arrow Road.  The SWAT team was called and Walsh was taken into custody without further incident after about a five hour standoff.
