A 23 year old North Fond du Lac man has been arrested after he was revived with Narcan following a heroin overdose. North Fond du Lac police Chief Darren Pautsch says rescue personnel were called to the Stretch Truck stop this week for a report of a man passed out in the restroom. Pautsch says officers and EMS found drugs on a toilet and a syringe in the man. Narcan was administered and the man regained consciousness. The man was transported to the hospital and later transferred to the Fond du Lac County Jail.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
