The North Fond du Lac school district continues to explore its long range facilities needs. The North Fond du Lac School board discussed the matter at a special meeting last night. Superintendent Aaron Sadoff says the goal is to develop a long-term comprehensive facilities and budget plan to meet growing building needs. “What we need to do is look at is doing an audit of our facilities, kind of look at what would this long term plan look like for replacing different elements of these buildings and look at our needs for a kids in the future,” Sadoff told WFDL news.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
