4-10-15 high risk stop on hwy 41 following reported abduction in fox valley

Nobody was injured and five people were taken into custody following a high risk stop on Highway 41 in Washington County Thursday evening.   Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s lieutenant Mike Nolan says the initial call came in of a possible kidnapping in Kimberly with reports the suspect vehicle was heading south.   “We did have deputies in the area of Highway 41 and B .  Deputies did attempt to locate the vehicle in our county but were unsuccessful,”  Nolan told WFDL news.  Nolan says deputies eventually came in contact with the vehicle in the area of Highways 41 and 33 near Allenton..  Nolan says sheriff’s deputies along with the state patrol made the stop at gunpoint, taking all five occupants into custody without incident.  Nolan says there was one adult male, three females and a two year old girl in the car.  Investigators say the man was accused of kidnapping a woman and her child.  All five were transported back to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.   The Fox Valley Metro police department is interviewing the subjects and investigating the incident.
