A woman accused of posting an ad on Craigslist to get back at a woman seeing her boyfriend has been bound over for trial. Crystal Bunkelman pleaded not guilty to a charge of misappropriating ID information/ to harm someone’s reputation. According to a criminal complaint Waupun Police received a call from a Waupun woman complaining that she was receiving strange messages and pictures from men who had seen an ad posted on Craigslist, stating “she would do everything and anything for men.” Police say it appears Bunkelman placed the ad after learning her boyfriend was also seeing the Waupun woman. Police say Bunkelman admitted to placing the ad after subpoena’s to Craigslist and Charter showed that the post had originated from a computer her home.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
